NPR PROVES THE POINT AND IT'S CEO WILL ONLY MAKE THINGS WORSE I had this yesterday on the blog but want to talk about it today.
THE COST OF SPEAKING OUT IS SUSPENSION If you didn't read the column written in The Free Press about NPR and it's liberal bias you can read it here (if you subscribe, which you should). Now NPR has responded in the most liberal way by suspending him for five days. This as many on the right are unearthing the INSANE comments on Twitter of it's new hard left CEO Katherine Maher. This would indicate that NPR has no interest in trying to be fair and balanced, but is merely circling the wagons and letting anyone else on the team know they are on notice too.
Today I read this article about the new CEO of NPR and hoo-boy is it a doozy. She's a rich liberal from New York with all that comes along with that. So what do we do now with the publicly funded network? I irony here is they don't understand why we think they hate conservatives at all. They genuinely believe they represent America. Shame, really. UPDATE: Uri Bernliner has resigned and issued a scathing message on the way out. I full expect him to end up at The Free Press now.

The problem here is that this man shot FIRST, unprovoked, AT POLICE. He wounded one officer before he was shot and killed by police, and yet the Chicago media are trying to portray him as a saint whose only crime was being black. To what end? Why do they do this? The good news is people aren't biting on this one. Read this from some of the most egregious reporting on this criminal.

This article talks about why the Department of Justice is considering an anti-trust suit against concert giant Live Nation for their business practices and fees. My big issue with Live Nation is that they demand exclusive contracts with arenas and stadiums which means they are essentially locking out any competition from being able to book shows in those venues. Most cities feel bound by an Idaho case where a judge ruled that a city can't ban sleeping outside unless they have shelter beds available. This could throw that made up right out the window.
