Vicky Evans grew up the youngest of four in Evergreen, CO. She was in the first graduating class out of Conifer High School and continued her education at Mesa State College in Grand Junction graduating with honors with a B.A. in Mass Communications with a double concentration in Broadcast Production and Public Relations. Vicky has held several positions in television and radio from promotions to producing, both in Grand Junction and in Denver leading her to her current position as Denver's only airborne helicopter traffic reporter for Newsradio 850 KOA and backup Aerial Photojournalist for the 5 Denver television station cluster.
Vicky maintains an active lifestyle having been instilled with a love for the outdoors from a very young age. She loves working out, hiking, camping, fishing and even hunting. Vicky is a new motorcycle rider, she loves cruising around the city on her brand new Harley Davidson Street Bob. Ironically, Vicky is afraid of heights, yet still has been skydiving, bungee jumping, has ridden the rollercoaster at the top of the Stratosphere in Las Vegas and now rides around high above the city in a helicopter.
Vicky will admit to being a horrible cook, she enjoys dining out and finding quaint, delectable diners and restaurants. She always likes getting out to concerts and sporting events, supporting all our hometown teams and thinks a Broncos or Rockies game is the perfect first date. Vicky also loves spending time with family and friends and spoiling her 6 nieces and nephews.
Vicky is thrilled everyday to have the privilege of watching the sun rise and set in Trafficopter 850 with the duty of getting you safely to work and getting you home in time for dinner.
